Nick Mazzone and Rocco La Bella

Nick Mazzone and Rocco La Bella South Australia's Nic and Rocco are on a mission to prove young men outside of the profession can cook, and cook well!

Nic, 26, and Rocco, 29, are life-long friends who grew up on the same street in Adelaide's Penfolds Winery estate.

When they weren't getting up to mischief as children, they were busy learning all that they could about cooking from their mothers.

Their cooking style is inspired by traditional Italian recipes and techniques, but executed with a modern creative twist. They look up to culinary experts such as the likes of South Australian father and son chefs Peter and Chris Jarmer, as well as the mastermind of all things sweet, Adriano Zumbo.

Like any good team of chefs, Nic and Rocco work well together in the kitchen and balance each other's strengths and weaknesses, which proved successful as the boys made the grand final of the 2012 hit series of My Kitchen Rules. Rocco has a special talent with desserts, whilst Nic is most in his comfort zone when preparing savory dishes.
Since finishing My Kitchen Rules, Nic and Rocco have already been signed to many reputable companies including Kraft, Cadbury, Myer, Villeroy & Boch, Kenwood, Bracegirdles and Peters of Kensington.

Nic and Rocco are also about to commence a national tour of cooking demonstration classes. They want to show people of all ages that cooking doesn't have to be a chore - it can actually be great fun. The childhood mates’ best cooking advice is to ‘appreciate great fresh local produce and to add a personal touch to make the dish yours!’

The future is very bright, with lots of corporate appearances and new projects being announced soon.
