Andre UrsiniBorn and raised in Adelaide, Andre’ Ursini was brought up in a household strongly influenced by the Northern Italian cultural heritage.
The Masterchef Australia series 1 alumni flourished after being a finalist and wasted no time gaining experience and knowledge to open his first restaurant.
In 2009 Andre opened the doors to Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar in Adelaide. His popular North Italian casual eatery had been years in the making.
Andre continues to provide cooking demonstrations, appearances, and is a regular food commentator on ABC radio and Mix 102 FM.
As a Young South Australian of the Year 2011 nominee, he gives many hours and ongoing dedication and commitment to his profession as well as charity support to Anglicare, From Cup to Crop, Make a Wish Foundation and The Bone Growth Foundation.
Soon to launch Andre’s Cucina pasta and polenta sauce range, Andre is extremely passionate about Northern Italian food, culture and the artisan way.
