Kids in the Kitchen presented by San Remo will give children the opportunity to learn about the principles of simple and delicious food preparation with their cooking heroes in these free sessions.Miele Chefs' Showcase
Take a dozen or so of the finest Australian and overseas restaurant chefs, put them on an open stage at the BankSA Feast for the Senses, add the finest produce, some great recipes, and giant screen coverage and you have the ingredients for a great culinary experience. The Miele Chefs’ Showcase will entertain over two days with demonstrations by the best in the business and it’s FREE as part of the BankSA Feast for the Senses.San Remo Junior Pasta Challenge
The San Remo Junior Pasta Dish Challenge is a cook-off between previously selected finalists, aged between 9-14 years old. The location for the challenge is still to be confirmed, but it will be in central Adelaide. On the day each contestant will be given a mystery box of ingredients and several shapes of pasta to cook the best pasta dish of their ability within the given time. Each will be assigned a celebrity chef mentor. Judged by celebrity chef, Adam Swanson, contestants will be judged on the appropriate pasta shape used, taste and plating.Selector Word of Mouth
