Young people aged from 8 to 12 will take part in hands-on cooking classes with celebrity chefs and cooks, during the Tasting Australia festival.
Kids in the Kitchen presented by San Remo will give children the opportunity to learn about the principles of simple and delicious food preparation with their cooking heroes in these free sessions.
With four sessions held each day, over two days at the BankSA Feast for the Senses, youngsters will experience numerous food cultures and have the enjoyment of eating the fruits of their labours with their celebrity chef and cook instructors.
Celebrities teachers include Paul Mercurio, Matt Moran, Pete Evans, Anna Gare, Mark Hix, Stephanie Alexander, George Calombaris, Miguel Maestre, Guy Grossi, Adrian Richardson, Jeremy Strode, Lyndey Milan, Maeve O’Meara, Rachel Allen, Matt Preston, Martin Bosley, Matthew Kemp and Richard Fox.
Sammy and Bella Jakubiak from My Kitchen Rules will be the Masters of Ceremonies.
Local heroes include Maggie Beer, Simon Bryant, Andre Ursini, Poh Ling Yeow , Adam Swanson, Rocco La Bella & Nick Mazzone.
